SPOTLIGHT: Create a Sticky Wall for Infants

Take a peek into this Parson’s infant room where Ms. Sara and Ms. Caitlyn are have curated an intentional space for the infants in their care. The Caterpillar Classroom has a “sticky wall” created with contact paper taped on the wall and different textures to stick.

Older infants can use gross motor and skills and proprioception(perception or awareness of the position and movement of the body) to coordinate their movements with their targets in this cardboard box with hanging targets to throw bean bags at.

Teacher-made sensory bottles offer an opportunity for children to use their senses and learn cause-and-effect.
