CDA is a nationally recognized credential awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington, DC for professionals working in the early childhood field.&
Preparatory courses begin virtually in July in English and Spanish and plan to meet in person as COVID-19 regulations allow. EIP funding may be available, as well as VOICE/CSEA professional development funding for family & group family child care providers. Family providers planning to have CSEA/VOICE cover their tuition will need to reach out to CSEA to obtain a CDA authorization code.
Students are encouraged to obtain a laptop or tablet to participate in virtual sessions.
