Successful candidates have experience in early childhood, are open to flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, have a valid NYS driver’s license, and have a clean driving record. In addition, you must be able to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence with demonstrated basic computer literacy skills. What Are We Looking For?
Brightside Up is looking to fill the position of a Legally Exempt Educator. A Legally
Exempt Educator is responsible for enrolling, re-enrolling, inspecting
and monitoring Legally Exempt child care providers (Family, Friend, & Neighbor
Child Caregivers) as defined by the New York State Office of Children and Family
Services.
What Does a Legally Exempt Educator Do?
· Assist Legally Exempt Providers and families with completion of the enrollment form.
· Data entry of enrollment form, inspections, training.
· Complete background checks for Legally Exempt providers.
· Conduct in-home Health & Safety Inspections for Legally Exempt Providers.
· Provide technical assistance in completing the enrollment application.

· Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
· A willingness to learn.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year/$25.64-28.21 per hour
Standard shift: 7.5-hour shift
